Joe & Kurt Identity
This was my first branding project, a group work for my corporate design class. The idea for the logo and concept for the visuals was discussed and developed in the group, but the images featured only show my interpretation, prototypes and photography.
Corporate Identity for Joe & Kurt, the manliest yogurt shop in town. The prototypes were hand crafted for a concept presentation, at which all pictures were taken.
Joe & Kurt lets you build your own fresh protein shakes to take, much like a frozen yogurt shop, but also satisfies your savory bacon cravings in store. It‘s possible to combine any foundation (yogurt, milk, curd, …) with a variety of fresh fruit and vegetables, nuts or power boosts (protein, guarana, caffeine, …) but also spicy and savory ingredients like bacon, eggs and cheese. You can pick and mix your snack or select from a range of Joe or Kurt classics.
This project is still unique to me because it was the first time I actually built prototypes for a concept presentation and at the same time also the only time I did have absolutely no budget for it. All items were, as can easily be told, hand crafted or sprayed, most of the base items handouts from local businesses.
Our concept also proposed for the store to use hand sprayed items, so the effort wasn‘t just for financial reasons but also testing which items and surfaces were most suitable and how easily the idea could be executed.
